Welcome to my site! My name is Shaina McCully and I am a junior at Mizzou studying Elementary Education.
I am originally from Macon, MO. Back at home, I enjoyed spending time with my 3 sisters and our family pet Yorkie-Poo, Rosie. Now that I am here for school, I enjoy spending time doing pre-service teaching, helping brides find their dream dress at David's Bridal, and spending time with my boyfriend, Chris, and our dog, Yadi.
My passion is to be a strong role model and mentor to young children of all ages, which is why I am working to become an elementary teacher. I have been fortunate enough to volunteer at Boy's and Girl's Club and the Nora Stewart Learning Center or Columbia. My previous pre-service teaching experiences have been with Kindergarten at Blue Ridge Elementary and with Fifth Grade at Alpha Hart Lewis Elementary. This semester, I am excited to finish up my pre-service teaching with Fifth Grade at Paxton Keeley Elementary. I also can't wait to engage in my SYOSP experience at Parkade Elementary School. I truly am thankful for so many wonderful pre-teaching experiences and cannot wait to get out on my own!
